Quiet mornings disrupted unexpectedly

The hotel was conveniently located just a short stroll from Old Phuket Town. Enjoyed the spacious room with black-out curtains for a peaceful night.

Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a loud party organized by the hotel early one morning, which disrupted our sleep and left us quite disappointed.

It was fairly clean, and the people were amiable and welcoming. Twin/double room on level 8 was the best.

The venue is big size and fairly clean with a great value and friendly and amazingly nice staff. It is a nice size on level 8, good enough for a budget stay. The location is unbeatable and excellent, near to transport and center of town👍

Secluded area but close to Old Phuket Town, made exploring easy. Spacious room with good shower pressure. Staff offered helpful assistance with luggage. I faced issues with the damp smell in the room, which lingered despite airing it out. Breakfast lacked variety for children, forcing my family to source food from outside. Some common areas felt dated and in need of attention, like the corridors that had a musty odor. It served as a decent base for our trip but has room for improvements.

i find it an ideal position to use as a base for sightseeing although the location is away from nightly entertainment and choices of restaurants

A relaxing base for exploring Phuket. Location, walking distance to all attractions. We greatly enjoyed staying at phuket merlin.

The breakfast had a great variety of Asian options. The room cleanliness left much to be desired.

Good location in the center of the old town.

The hotel is run down needing a good work-over, and the room was definately not deluxe

The tropical fruits were a standout at breakfast! We also enjoyed the very nice pool and the comfort of our Beautiful Double or Twin Room with the ideal spot to unwind after exploring the local culinary gems at nearby eateries like YaYa House and Factory Cafe.

While some days were peaceful, the noise level from gaggles of lively tour groups could sometimes was nice. The hotel could benefit from a bit of a refresh, but the charm shone through despite its age.

The staff was very friendly. They didn't charge us extra for staying 5 hours over the usual checkout time.

Cutting through the noise

While my stay presented some challenges, the clean, spacious rooms were quite comfortable. The convenient location makes it easy to explore, and the good Thai dishes just downstairs were a highlight. The pool offered a refreshing escape, although securing a sunbed early was essential.

Shower pressure was solid, and room layout had decent space for a family setup. Close proximity to Old Phuket Town made it easy for wandering the local streets.

The hotel is heavily outdated, with some rooms showing signs of mold and damp smells, especially from the air conditioning units. Bathrooms left much to be desired. They had strong odors that required keeping doors shut.

Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Those black-out curtains are a game changer! Had a pretty decent brekkie with lekker coffee, and it's just 5 minutes to Old Town on foot. Perfect spot for a little exploration!

WiFi was a bit iffy at times, but we managed.
